King Dashratha was the only known king in the History who was allowed to and fro to the Swarg along with the mortal body .He fought a lot of battles for the Devtas so Devraj Indra was a very good friend of him .In order to pay respect to King Dashratha, Indra used to share half of his throne with him every time King Dashratha visited The Swarg (Heaven).Once upon a time after having a casual discussion with Indra king Dashratha as usual was returning from the Swarg. Almost when he reached the halfway, he recalled that he forgot to invite Devraj Indra to an important Function in Ayodhya .So he decided he would come back again and invite Indra for the function. Coming back he saw something very strange, the half throne where King Dashratha had sat was being washed. Dashratha was astonished to see this, he decided he will find out what’s the matter? So he changed his appearance and disguised himself as a Brahman he asked one of the courtiers of the Indra about the ritual of washing the half throne. The courtier informed him that King Dashratha does not have children and the Devtas suspect him of being impotent so they wash away all things touched by Dashratha to avoid the propagation of this disease in the Swarga. King Dashratha was heart-broken after hearing this. He straight away went to his prime priest and asked for a solution. The priest gave him the solution of A Mahayagya. King Dashratha replied that he has already performed a hundreds of Yagayas in the past, yet there wasn’t any results. The priest gave him confidence and introduced him to Rishi Vashishtha. Rishi vashitha offered a remedy that he will try his best this time and results will occur. So King Dashratha once again with all his might and faith performed the Mahayagya ritual with complete hope. Fortunately the Mahayagya proved helpful and he was blessed with a baby-boy, Then King Dashratha asked the priest and Rishi Vashishtha about how did the miracle happened?
Rishi Vashishtha replied, my dear king this time your faith was different, this time your string urge for a child was far more powerful than your previous endeavors .This time your attempt was so strong that even the Devtas couldn’t avoid your ambition and hence you are blessed with a child.
What’s the moral of the story??
You may do a task thousands of times but until and unless you are completely determined with an inner sense of urge, chances of results are less. Your success probability depends upon the hope and faith that you put on in any task
